These are good envelopes. I just have one bill every month that has to be paid by mail, and these get the job done. The security tint is decent, and the self-seal is strong. Haven’t had a problem yet.

These envelopes are of good solid stock, and hold mail securely without being able to be seen though. You don’t have to rely on a foul-tasting tongue lick to seal–they have an adhesive strip closure. It didn’t seal 100% perfectly, I did add one small piece of scotch tape to an edge, but it was close to being sealed well without the amount of tape I usually use. They’re easy to write on, don’t smear, and take ink legibly. Above all, for the quantity I bought, they were quite a bit cheaper than the ones in my usual brick-and-mortar stores, with the same quality, without having to make a car trip.

For years I bought Mead security envelopes. These look great, easy to use, didn’t cost much for the 50 vs. the security function needed in the standard letter size.
